animator-root-motion-hips

Since 0.7

a rootMotion state plays a clip whose root does not travel but whose hips (the canonical Hips through retarget.map, or a joint of that name) travel more than half a metre on the ground, and the animator has no rootMotionFrom, so the mesh walks away from a capsule that does not move; printed once per asset and state when the animator is built

Meaning

a rootMotion state plays a clip whose root does not travel but whose hips (the canonical Hips through retarget.map, or a joint of that name) travel more than half a metre on the ground, and the animator has no rootMotionFrom, so the mesh walks away from a capsule that does not move; printed once per asset and state when the animator is built

Fix

set the animator's rootMotionFrom to the hips joint ("Hips", or the rig's own name), or clear rootMotion on the state if the travel is meant to stay in the pose
